Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released an employment notification for
the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS-I) 2016 including SSC Women
(Non-Technical) Course which will be conducted on 14th February 2016 for
admission to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and
Officers Training Academy, Chennai. Last date to fill online application is 4th
December 2015.

Military Academy: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January

Air
Force Academy, Hyderabad: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd
January 1993 and not later than 1st January 1997.
Officers
Training Academy: Male candidates (Married or Unmarried) born not earlier than
2nd January 1992 and not later than 1st January 1998.
Officers
Training Academy (Women): Unmarried Women, issue less widows who have no
remarried and issue less divorcees who have not remarried are eligible and
should have been born not earlier than 2nd January 1992 and not later than 1st
January 1998.
Educational Qualifications:
Indian
Military Academy & Officers Training Academy: Candidate must hold Degree in
any discipline of recognized University.
Indian
Naval Academy: Candidate must hold Degree in Engineering from a recognized
University/Institution.
Air
Force Academy, Hyderabad: Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and
Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Application Fee:
Candidates
have to pay Rs.200/- either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by cash
or by using internet banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner &
Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State
Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card. No fee charges
for Female/SC/Candidates.
Selection Process:
Selection
will be made through Written Examination and Interview.
