• Name of the Post – Scientific Assistant
• Number of Posts – 23

Eligibility Criteria:

B.Sc. degree in Physics or Chemistry or Electronics or Oceanography with two years’ experience in the following fields;

(a) Material (metal, metal alloys, rubber) analysis and testing techniques

OR

(b) Machinery noise and vibration movements; analysis and reduction techniques

OR

(c) Chemical analysis of oils, lubricants, electrolyte and water etc.

OR

(d) Study and analysis of corrosion process and mitigation techniques.

Age Limit:

• Gen: Between 18 – 30 years.
• OBC: Relaxation up to 3 years.
• SC / ST: Relaxation up to 5 years.
• PH (UR): Relaxation up to 10 years.
• PH (OBC): Relaxation up to 13 years.
• PH (SC / ST): Relaxation up to 15 years.
• For Ex. Serviceman: As per rule.

Selection Procedure:

• Written test
• Physical test
• Interview
